Write Java code to crash the java virtual machine

You can use the Unsafe class which is unsafe to use as you might guess.
public static void main(String... args) throws Exception {
    getUnsafe().getByte(0);
}

private static Unsafe getUnsafe() throws NoSuchFieldException, IllegalAccessException {
    Field theUnsafe = Unsafe.class.getDeclaredField("theUnsafe");
    theUnsafe.setAccessible(true);
    return (Unsafe) theUnsafe.get(null);
}
prints
#
# A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:
#
#  SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x00007ff1c2f23368, pid=2630, tid=140676351506176
